Chojeondaek House is restrained and neat place despite of long period of hardship. It is just as elegant as scholar who remained in this house aloof throughout his life. It is designated as Gyeongsangbuk-do Cultural Heritage Material No. 421, and is located in Deokcheon Village where Cheongsong Sim Family is gathered, facing the south. 

There is an earthen wall by the south and east side of the house, a garden and vegetable patch along the wall, and a well used in olden days by the right side of the house.

It is built around 1806(6th year during the reign of King Sunjo) to celebrate 4th birthday of son Heonmun, who was adopted by the Seokchongong Branch of the Cheongsong Sim Clan’s Deokhwal the seventeenth who was Tongjeong-daebu Cheomji-jungchubusa (Public official of Cheomji government office) during King Sunjo period, after the early death of younger brother Deokjong. The house was repaired in 1900 by Uihae the twenty-first and is living for generations.
